BodyWork therapy*

My treatments are athletic body therapy and most beneficial to athletes or those who workout otherwise a regular massage would benefit you more. My expertise is in male skeletal muscle fiber composition and the function of their body mechanics for overall health and energy balance. Because of my limited time availability and professional expertise, I limit my practice to men who are athletes or who regularly workout.

Your bodywork treatment begins with a full body rubdown using therapeutic movements of light to medium pressure that stimulate circulation and relieve muscle tension in the body.  During the treatment a combination of my experience in the following techniques are applied and added as needed based on your individual needs and goals we identified during your intake assessment or needs I discover during the treatment:

• Deep tissue pressure - Helps to  realign layers of connective and muscle tissue.
• Myofascial trigger point release therapy -  Improves range of motion and circulation while eliminating knots and tightness.
• Reflexology - Stimulates natural healing energy.
• Craniosacral therapy - Relieves tension in the central nervous system.
• Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response therapy – Produces mild euphoric sensations for positive effects on mental and physical health.
• Percussive Therapy – Reduces muscle tension, increasing mobility and range of motion, increasing blood flow to reduce soreness, tightness and pain.
• Electrical Muscle Stimulation – Stimulates muscle using an electric current in order to improve blood circulation, minimize inflammation, prevent muscle atrophy from an injury, speed up healing, stimulate and promote muscle growth.

Most people forget how well the body functions when it is healthy. My therapy reintroduces your body to the feeling of good health by creating an experience based on your specific needs to improve your overall mental and physical health while optimizing your natural healing energy in your body.

*I am not a massage therapist.  Massage therapy is only one form of bodywork and as a mind, body and energy coach, my treatment involves several forms of bodywork techniques with the ability to address multiple issues in the body.

First time clients should plan to arrive 20 minutes earlier than the appointment start for an intake assessment to create a plan tailored for your overall mind and body health and discussing techniques that will be helpful for your session(s).

I primarily began this treatment as a service to my personal training clients who were not able to find quality massage therapists to address their specific needs. Since I have a large personal training clientele my appointments for this service are limited and book up fast however package purchases allow you to book your sessions in advance. Only cancellations prior to 24 hours before appointment receive a full refund.
